In the spring of 2026 we have 2 course opportunities where we train in how to work with plant dye and brightening clay. An introductory course that suits those who are new to plant dye or need to refresh their basic knowledge, and an advanced course for those of you with experience who want to develop further and get inspiration.
Introductory course - Plants In Colour

Discover the possibilities of plant color!
This course gives you a solid and inspiring introduction to plant dyeing – both in theory and practice. We start with a digital theory review a week before the course day, so that you land on a solid foundation of knowledge before we meet.
When we meet, we will continue to focus on our ready-made mixtones and nuances, and how you can use them to create deep, vibrant and long-lasting color results. We will also go over the brightening clay, its possibilities and how you can combine different techniques for creative and modern expressions.
Arrangements during the course day
Morning:
Demonstration on a model performed by our color technician and production of your own color charts. There is time for questions, reflection and dialogue.
Afternoon:
Practical work where you color a model yourself – with our guidance and support throughout the entire process.
Suitable for you as:
Are you curious about plant-based hair color and want to learn the basics while gaining concrete knowledge and inspiration that can be used immediately in your salon work, so that you are ready to get started with plant-based hair color right when you are back at the salon.

Advanced colour course - Plants In Colour

For those who want to take your plant coloring to the next level.
This course is aimed at those of you who have mastered the basics and want to develop your craft further. We will go through both theory and practice on how to build even more personal, complex and multidimensional color results. You will work with combinations of mixtones, pure pigments and brightening clay - always with a focus on what works in the salon's everyday life.
We delve into recipes, shade building and creative techniques that help you create modern and vibrant color results.
Arrangements during the course day
Morning:
Theoretical overview and demonstration on a model of our color techniques. You will see advanced techniques in practice, with plenty of time for questions and discussion.
Afternoon:
Practical work with coloring on your own model - where you get the opportunity to experiment, challenge yourself and refine your technique with supervision.
Suitable for you as:
Have experience with plant dyeing and want to develop confidence, variety and creativity in your dyeing work to come back to the salon with new inspiration and ideas to apply directly to your clients.
