New Generation

New generation colors are a collective name for those color brands with synthetic color pigments that are approved for use in a certified Green Salon. At Green Heads we have chosen to use Bruns Color + and Ingredient. Two color series that are designed and developed specifically for green hairdressers.

The color does not damage the hair structure but is gentle, protective and gives a fantastic, long-lasting shine. It covers gray hair, is available in all conceivable shades and can color in your own lightness level and darker. If you want to be lighter, choose “advanced coloring” in our treatment menu, then we combine lightening, with bleaching and/or lightening clay, with coloring to achieve the desired result.

The colors are free from toluene-2,5-diamine (PTD), P-phenylenediamine (PPD), resorcinol, ammonia, perfume, silicones, phthalates and other harmful and allergenic substances. See the list of banned substances here.

Dye your hair at home with New Generation colors:

With Bruns Color + you have the opportunity to buy your personal color mixture home to fill in the growth at home between your salon visits. You buy your refill color when you are with us and color your hair, we are not able to sell the color home without you having a booked appointment with us. You can buy 50 g for 350 SEK and it is enough for one growth coloring.

Here are instructions for a successful result:

Step-by-step guide:

If your hair is treated with dry shampoo, color spray or a lot of styling products, wash and dry it first. Always wear protective gloves.

Open the bottle carefully due to possible gas formation. Avoid letting the paint come into contact with plastic, such as glasses, as this may damage the plastic.

Apply generous amounts of color in very thin strokes to dry hair using the included pipette.

For best coverage, leave the color on for 30 minutes. For gray hair coverage, leave it on for up to 45 minutes. Keep the color moist by covering the color with a plastic cap. The color will be ineffective if it dries. For optimal results, please use the BRUNS heat cap, which is available at our salons.

Rinse thoroughly and wash your hair with your chosen shampoo and finish with conditioner.

Tip: Storing leftover paint: After coloring, replace the cap, seal tightly, and store the bottle in a cool, dark place until next time. Since it is not an oxidation paint, it can be reused until it runs out.

NOTE! The dye must not be used on eyebrows and eyelashes. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse eyes immediately if the dye comes into contact with them.

We do not sell paints from Ingredient for use at home because it is not approved by the supplier.
