Plant color - Plants In Color & Plants In Gloss
Plant dye is a 100% natural way to dye hair. You mix plant pigments, which consist of dried and ground plants such as henna, indigo, walnut, cassia and rhubarb root. By balancing the pigments, you can achieve different colors and shades.
After working with plant dyes for many years at Green Heads, we have developed a completely unique concept consisting of - Plants In Colour and Plants In Gloss, it is a professionally developed plant colour series based on 100% natural and organic plants. The colours are caring, naturally moisturising, provide shine and a fantastic laser-like depth of colour.

Plants in Color
Is a plant-based color series with ready-made mixtones, both for salon treatments but also in consumer packaging for home use with permanent coverage. Our lighter mixtones Blonde , Gold , Beige and Copper is suitable for those with dark blonde to light blonde hair and our darker mixtones Copper Brown , Warm brown , Golden brown and Dark brown suitable for those with dark blonde to dark brown hair. Green Head's own plant color series makes it more fun and easier than ever to step into the fantastic world of plant colors. With both mixed pigments and pure pigments, the series allows freedom and playfulness in your creation, regardless of whether you are an experienced plant colorist or curious to start. With its natural ingredients, Plants in Colour also moisturizes the hair and gives it a wonderful shine and a fantastic depth of color.
Plants In Colour is therefore a covering and permanent colour but gives a lasered result where the hair's own nuances shine through. You can therefore get really nice and natural colours even on grey hair. Instead of a full-coverage "colour helmet" as is easily achieved with chemical hair colour, Plants in Colour gives a vibrant result. Which also gives a softer regrowth and means that you can wait a little longer than usual to colour the base.
Plants In Gloss
Plants In Gloss is a tinting and treatment in one. It is nourishing, moisturizing, gives a fantastic shine and refreshes your hair color. A hair tint that is perfect to do between colorings or to make your own color pop. Plants In Gloss is available in the shades Nude which gives a glossy beige tone and should be used on blonde and light hair, Cognac which gives a glossy coppery shade and should be used primarily on medium blonde gingers and Mocca which gives a warm brown shade and should be used on light brown to dark hair.
Plants In Gloss does not lighten or cover gray hair. Plants In Gloss works for 10 minutes and lasts approximately 8 washes. The result is affected by the original condition of the hair such as lightness, quality and whether it has previously been chemically treated, e.g.

Some things you need to know about plant color:
Indigo is a blue pigment that we mainly use to darken and dampen coppery tones and to produce brown shades. Indigo cannot be bleached out, if you bleach hair dyed with a lot of indigo, the hair will turn a light blue-green. Therefore, our darker colors are especially suitable for those who consider themselves brunettes and do not want or usually bleach their hair. Our light plant color tones are easy to bleach and can be easily lightened 3-4 steps. If you are a person who changes color often, we recommend that you choose our light tones.
You can't lighten your hair with just plant dye, you can just dye it to the same or darker lightness level as you already have, but with the help of lightening in the form of bleaching, for example, we can achieve creative and vibrant color results with shifts in several shades. The color result is therefore affected by the original condition and quality of the hair, which makes each color individual and unique for each person.
The plant pigments need to "mature" before the color can be considered completely finished, and this process can take 2-3 days. Many people find that the color has deepened and become richer when it is "finished". We recommend that you do not wash your hair during these days after coloring.
Hair that has been treated with silicone products needs to be detoxified to achieve the most even results possible, and in such cases there may be an additional cost.
